1. I’ve never done yoga before. Which class would you recommend? If you’ve never done yoga before, or have tried it in the past but feel a little out of touch, we will always recommend our Beginners’ Yoga classes on a Tuesday and Thursday. They are suitable for all levels, shapes and sizes. 2. What equipment do I need to bring to class? We are a fully equipped studio, so you do not need to bring anything with you, including a mat. If you become a regular, however, we would recommend investing in your own mat, which you are welcome to bring to class. 3. Do I need to book online or can I just show up for class? We do recommend booking online, as some of our classes can get full, and we do not want anyone to make a journey to the studio and be disappointed to find there are no spaces left in the class. If you don’t want to book online, you’re welcome to come into the studio when it is open and book in person via cash or card at reception. As per our booking policy, we cannot take bookings without a payment. Please do not be offended: we cannot hold a space without payment – it is not fair on others. 4. How long before class should I arrive? Try to arrive to class with a few minutes to spare. We understand that sometimes traffic (amongst other things) can make you a little bit late. However due to safety, we are likely to refuse entry to class if you are over 10 minutes late, as you will miss the warm up portion. 5. What do I wear? We recommend comfortable clothing that you can move easily in no need for anything special, you can even come in your pyjamas if you want! You can leave your socks on during class if you would like to, but we do not allow outdoor shoes in the practice spaces. We respectfully ask that you leave your shoes in our vault (which is our shoe and cloak room). 6. I suffer from <medical condition>, can I still come to a class? If you have any conditions or physical issues that you are concerned about, please speak to your teacher about it before class begins. Teachers can modify for you and make sure you are comfortable and safe. 7. I am pregnant, can I still come to a class? If you are pregnant and you feel physically healthy, you can do yoga. Please do make sure to notify your teacher before the class begins. We hope this page has answered any questions or enquiries you had, and that you feel ready and prepared to make your first visit to us. If you have any more specific enquiries that are not answered here, please feel free to drop us an email . If your enquiry is urgent, give us a call on 0151 257 8202, and we’ll try to get back to you as soon as we can.
